The Rocky Horror Show

It’s that time of year!… time to do the Time Warp again! This cult classic was revolutionary when it first premiered in 1973 for its empowerment of self creation and has become a yearly Prescott tradition.

Follow the story of newly engaged Brad Majors and Janet Weiss. While on their way to visit Dr. Everett Scott, their former science tutor, they run into some trouble and end up at the residence of another scientist, Dr. Frank-N-Furter. That “Sweet Transvestite”, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, along with his colorful group of butlers, maids, and other eccentrics; strip Brad and Janet down (literally) and take them up to his lab to see his new “favorite obsession”, Rocky, the man he has been making. What could happen next in this sexy science fiction parody?

Come to the Elks Theater on October 27th @7pm to see this years production of Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show: Live” to find out. A friendly Transylvanian reminder that this production includes adult themes so is ages 18 and up.

There will be a fun filled preshow before the show, starting at 7pm and also a costume contest at intermission.

As this is a live production not a shadow cast of the movie, the act of throwing any objects on stage is strictly prohibited, though costumes are highly encouraged.
